Facebook Tips

Posting your FundEasy page link on Facebook, using the Facebook Share button, and posting updates are great ways to get your friends involved in your cause. Here are some tips to make sure that your posts look their best.
  1. Use square images. Facebook usually crops pictures to a square, although they will allow pictures up to three times as wide as they are tall. If you use a square image, you'll generally be happier with the results.
  2. Use Facebook's debugger tool to refresh your Facebook page after you make changes like uploading pictures and editing the name or title or goal on the page. Facebook's cache does clear after a day or two, but the debugger tool updates this right away.
  3. Use the Refresh Share Attachment option in your Facebook newsfeed to update the images in your Facebook post.

  4. If you copy and paste the link to your page as a Facebook status, you may see scroll button to choose another photo. You can still use the option to Refresh Share Attachment after the link has posted.
